Warrior Football Week 3

We did some great things on defense and I know the potential that we have on offense. We are closing the gap as a team and there were certainly some great individual efforts like Dan Crozier at outside linebacker, Michael Boyd, Troy Mason and Ben Bennett playing corner, our defensive line and many players on special teams.

High School Week 2 Schedule
Monday 7:00 AM film in the field house
Monday 3:45 to 6:10 PM (Full Pads)
Tuesday 3:45 to 6:10 PM (Full Pads)
Wednesday 3:45 to 5:30 PM (Half Shell) Pictures-Blue Uniform
Thursday 3:45 to 5:15 PM (Half Shell)
Thursday 5:00 PM JV Game at home against Second Baptist
Friday- Away Game against Second Baptist at 6:00 PM Bus leaves at 3:30 (There is no school but your son should not stay up late on Thursday or sleep in past 9 am on Friday. They should be at school at 3 and will NOT be feed a pregame meal this week.)

JV Roster
There may be a few changes to the JV roster depending on injuries and academics. If your son played in the last game he should plan to play in this one. We will let the players know for sure on Tuesday.

Team Pictures
There will be pictures on Wednesday rain or shine. Players will need to wear their blue uniform.

Practice Clothing
Almost everyone got a shirt last week and the shorts are in. We will begin to give them out to the payers on Monday.

Game Film
Both the Westbury game and scout film for Second Baptist is on the website for your son to watch. I would prefer that they do this as opposed to video games and TV. It really does help them perform at a higher level.

Middle School Week 3 Information

The rain made for a tough week but we should have clear skies and an opportunity to play the first MS B game. While I know we would like to play a game every week the more practice time younger players get the better they are in the long run. So I hope to see a great week of practice for the A team.

Middle School Week 2 Schedule
Monday – 3:45 to 6:00 PM (Full Pads)
Tuesday – 3:45 to 5:45 PM (Full Pads) A team players only
Tuesday – B team game at 4:30 PM at Salem Trinity. Bus leaves at 3:00PM
Wednesday – 3:45 to 5:30 PM Pictures
Thursday – 3:45 to 5:45 PM (Full Pads)

Game Pictures
I know that many of you take pictures during the middle school games. I could use more for the website so if you have some good ones please send them to me.

Practice Clothing
We did not get practice clothing handed out last week with the weather but we will do it on Monday at the end of practice.

Uniforms
There are way too many middle school uniforms in the locker room. They are to be taken home after every game, washed and stored at home, not wedged in lockers or left on sweaty shoulder pads. This shortens the life of the uniform and the shoulder pad.
